About
Full service Music Supervisor who can strategize about the sound of your project, script breakdown for realistic music uses/costs, prepare and manage music budget, curate music bins for song options, including original, licensed, library/stock, and original score and/or songs. I also help build out music teams if you'd like to bring on a composer, musical sound designer, and/or music editor while I supervise their work within the scope of the production. I'm an expert in music clearance from ownership research to fully clearing songs while also drafting/reviewing long form licenses, coordinating signatures and invoice payments, and formatting music cue sheets to include all in final delivery. I'm also able to create and customize operational systems for production and music workflows.
My specialty is in branded content/sonic branding and podcasts, but I've worked across television, film, live broadcast sports, advertising, branded content, podcasts/audio only productions, and globally live-streamed events. I love working on events, even if it's just being a Lead PA on site. I've both planned and produced all sizes of events, working with vendors, talent, invites, press, and VIP guests while managing event operations on-site. I love live music and events!
I'm part of Hudsy's Advisory Council, which has been extremely rewarding. Additionally, I'm an active member of the Recording Academy and Guild of Music Supervisors. I volunteer on the Guild's DEI Committee, and our biggest initiative is our mentorship program. We select Guild-approved Music Supervisors with aspiring Music Supervisors from underrepresented backgrounds for a one-on-one crash course in supervision training. Each Supervisor curates their sessions to their mentee's needs and focus areas to make sure they get the most out of the mentorship.
