Yussef has worked in the field of motion design for nearly 20 years. After graduating from Oberlin College with a Cinema Studies degree, he joined Current TV in San Francisco, a network created by Al Gore to showcase user-generated content. Since then he’s worked for many clients, such as Nike, Apple, and British Gas in a variety of mediums, like CGI, stop-motion and film. He recently led the graphics team at Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj in winning an Emmy Award for Outstanding Motion Design. Yussef is also a writer and reviews video games for places like Polygon, Wired and The New York Times. He lives with his wife and two cats in the Berkshires in Massachusetts where he goes on bike rides (both pedal and motorcycle), does improv, and watches tons of movies.
